During the Battle of Waterloo (18 June 1815), the Royal Artillery Drivers played a vital role in moving and managing the British artillery. Many drivers served alongside infantry and cavalry in exposed positions, enduring the same dangers while ensuring that the artillery could operate effectively throughout the battle.
