In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Murray, 8th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force, was killed in action on 19th December. About a fortnight ago Mrs Murray received two letters from her soldier son, both dated 20th December., in one of which he states that he had received a slight wound on the previous day whilst going out to meet a scouting party. Private Murray, who enlisted at the commencement of the war, went to Canada four years ago, and prior to enlistment was employed as a traveller for a biscuit manufacturing company. He served his apprenticeship as a coach painter with Messrs. A. Dowie and Sons, Townsend Place, Kirkcaldy, and was very well known in the town.”
