A medal bar featuring seven decorations in 1957 version, including a Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with red enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central black Federal Republic-style German national eagle, unmarked, measuring 54.44 mm (w) x 57.03 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and a silvered metal alloy, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic core within a ribbed and silvered frame, the obverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, unmarked, measuring 44.43 mm (w) x 47.20 (h), in extremely fine condition
An Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a laurel branch, the reverse bearing an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/1942” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42” above a crossed sword and laurel branch, topped by a Stahlhelm and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 35.62 mm (w) x 43.97 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; an Italian-German African Campaign Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures grappling with a crocodile, the reverse bearing a raised Felini Arch, the obverse maker marked “LORIOLI, MILANO, measuring 31.40 mm (w) x 36.60 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; an Italian Medal of Military Valour, Silver Grade, the obverse bearing a crowned and wreathed coat of arms of Savoy, circumscribed by an inscription of “AL VALORE MILITARE” (“FOR MILITARY VALOUR”), the reverse bearing a circular laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 32.75 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; an Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, V Class Knight, constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on a stylized suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a white enameled Greek Cross with ball finials, the arms joined through the quadrants by Republic-style Italian national eagles, with a gilt five-pointed star affixed to the centre of each side, unmarked, measuring 44.56 mm (w) x 60.45 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; an Order of Homayoun, V Class Knight, constructed of a silvered and polished bronze alloy with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a four-pointed radiant star, with a central enameled medallion, unmarked, measuring 59.43 mm (w) x 59.14 mm (h), with some chipping of the enamels evident, in overall near extremely fine condition; affixed to a 205 mm-long non-magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback and red wool reverse liner, unmarked, in overall near extremely fine condition.
