In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Wehrmacht Uniform Feldbluse). This tunic is constructed of a field gray wool blend signature to the late war period, featuring an unlined turned-down collar with the collar tabs removed. The interior of the collar has a sewn-in tag reading “Bavaria Atelier GMBH'' with the faded remains of a stamp directly underneath reading “Eigentum der Bavaria Filmkanzlei GMBH'' (Property of the Bavaria Movie Office Inc) denoting post war use as a movie prop. On each shoulder is a loop and a magnetic pebbled button for the attachment of shoulder boards. The right sleeve and left breast bear remnants of where insignia were once attached. The breast and waist feature a total of four pleated pockets, all closing with scalloped flaps, and secured via a single non-magnetic pebbled button. The two sides of the tunic are secured together using five matching nonmagnetic pebbled buttons that are met by reinforced button-holes on the opposing flap. The interior is partially lined with tan coloured cotton for reinforcement and for the interior of the pockets. It measures approximately 45 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 58 cm, and an overall length of 76 cm. The tunic is in worn condition with multiple areas exhibiting repair, such as the area on the right shoulder where the button is affixed to the tunic, with loose threads throughout from being de-badged, in overall fine condition.
