(Unsere Luftstreitkräfte 1914-1918). An extremely well-preserved 1930 Edition of “Unsere Luftstreitkräfte 1914-1918” (“Our Air Force 1914-1918”), constructed of a heavy card stock binding, the exterior featuring a field-grey canvas liner throughout both the front and back covers, the former bearing an elaborate gilt title in gilded text, the corners reinforced with faux maroon leather, with additional faux maroon leather reinforcing the spine which similarly bears a gilt title, the interior content consisting of 465 paginated pages finished in gilt on the exterior, featuring a detailed history of the aircraft, equipment, campaigns, and decorations of the Imperial German Air Force during the First World War, supplemented by an array of black-and-white photographs and full-colour illustrations, notably featuring fold-out charts details aircraft and topographical details, culminating in a further 91 paginated pages featuring the names and dates of Air Force personnel lost in actions during the war, published in 1930 by Vaterländischer Verlag C.A. Weller, Berlin, and with editorship overseen by Generalleutnant Walter von Eberhardt in conjunction with a large number of veterans who contributed to the project, measuring 275 mm (w) x 355 mm (h), with only minor signs of soiling and discolouration evident, a definitive account of the air war from the German perspective in overall extremely fine condition.
