A George Washington Indian Peace Medal Restrike, in bronze, obverse featuring George Washington, with the reverse bearing two shaking hands with crossed pipe and tomahawk above with the inscription PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP, measures 75.7 mm in diameter, a restrike of the original, residue around several letters on the obverse and reverse, small contact marks to edges, remains very fine.
An Abraham Lincoln Peace and Friendship Medal Restrike, in bronze, the obverse featuring a profile of Lincoln in high relief, the reverse featuring an inscription reading INAUGURATED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES MARCH 4 1861. SECOND TERM MARCH 4, 1865. ASSASSINATED APRIL 14 1865. surrounded by a wreath, measures 75.7 mm (h), minor wear, small edge bruises, remains very fine.
