1.A Philippine Congressional Medal. In bronze, the obverse bearing the image of a flag bearer accompanied by two soldiers bearing rifles surrounded by the words PHILIPPINE INSURRECTION, the reverse bears the inscription FOR PATRIOTISM FORTITUDE AND LOYALTY surrounded by a wreath tied at the bottom with a bow, on original ribbon with pinback, 33 mm, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Philippine Congressional Medal was instituted on 9 July 1906. The medal recognized those soldiers who had enlisted in the United States Army for the purpose of serving in the Philippine–American War.
2.A Spanish War Service Medal. Bronze medallion, obverse center shows a Roman sword hanging on a tablet with the inscription FOR SERVICE IN THE SPANISH WAR, surrounded by a wreath, reverse bears the coat of arms of the United States over a scroll inscribed FOR SERVICE, on original ribbon with safety pinback, 32.4 mm, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Spanish War Service Medal was instituted on 9 July 1918 (40 Stat. 873). The medal recognizes those members of the Army and of the U.S. Volunteers who performed active duty during the Spanish–American War, but did not qualify for the Spanish Campaign Medal.

Bronze medallion, obverse center bearing the image of a palm tree above the year 1899, surrounded by the inscription PHILIPPINE INSURRECTION, reverse center bearing the image of an eagle, above the inscription FOR SERVICE, surrounded by the inscription UNITED STATES ARMY, numbered 3754, on original ribbon with pinback, 33 mm, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Philippine Campaign Medal was created to denote service of U.S. military men in the Philippine–American War between the years of 1899 and 1913.

Bronze medallion, obverse bearing the image of two soldiers standing before ? , reverse bearing the flags of the United States and the California Republic, surrounded by the inscription THE PEOPLE OF CALIFORNIA TO and FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SPANISH AMERICAN WAR 1898-99, includes “California” suspension numbered 1436 on the reverse, inclusive of suspension 61.3 mm (h) x 38 mm (w), evidence of light wear, missing ribbon, very fine condition.
