1.A Legion of Merit, Legionnaire. A green enameled wreath joined at the bottom by a bow, superimposed on a five-pointed white star with crimson borders, between each star point are crossed war arrows, the obverse centerpiece bears a blue disk with 13 white stars, the reverse center disk is surrounded by the motto ANNUIT COEPTIS MDCCLXXXII, along the upper contour of the medal is a scroll with words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 50.7 mm(h) x 47.3 mm (w), on original ribbon, enamels intact, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Legion of Merit was instituted on 20 July 1942 and was awarded for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.
2.A Distinguished Service Medal. The obverse bears the coat of arms of the United States surrounded by a blue enameled ring bearing the words FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE, the exergue the date MCMXVIII, suspended by a bar attached to the original ribbon in white, red, and blue, inclusive of bar suspension 50 mm (h) x 37 mm (w), extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Distinguished Service Medal was instituted on 2 January 1918 and awarded to soldiers who have distinguished themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to the government in a duty of great responsibility.
3.A Navy Distinguished Service Medal. Gilt bronze medallion with a five-point star in white enamel, each of the arms finished with ball finials, the obverse centerpiece bears an eagle with spread wings, surrounded by a blue enameled ring with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NAVY, the blue enameled ring surrounded by a gold border of scroll waves, the reverse centerpiece bears a trident surrounded by a laurel wreath, surrounded by a blue enameled ring with the words FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE, the blue enameled ring surrounded by a gold border of scroll waves, n original ribbon, inclusive of star suspension 55 mm (h) x 33 mm (w), enamels all intact, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Navy version of the Distinguished Service Medal was instituted on 4 February 1919 and presented to sailors and marines to recognize distinguished and exceptionally meritorious service to the United States while serving in a duty or position of great responsibility.
4.A Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal. Bronze medal, the obverse shows a sailing ship at sea, surrounded by the words U.S COAST GUARD DISTINGUISHED SERVICE, the reverse bears the coat of arms of the U.S coast guard and features an unengraved scroll, on the original ribbon in blue with a thin vertical white stripe toward each edge followed by a slightly thicker purple stripe, 34 mm, near mint condition.
Footnote: The Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal was instituted on 4 August 1949, and first awarded in 1961. It was awarded to coast guardsmen who distinguished themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to the United States Government in a duty of great responsibility.
5.A Navy Cross. A cross pattée with laurel leaves in each of the corners, obverse centerpiece shows a caravel sailing at sea, reverse centerpiece shows two crossed anchors tied by cables flanked by the letters U, S, N, on original navy ribbon with one white stripe, 45 mm (h) x 38 mm (w), evidence of oxidation on the obverse corners of the cross, very fine condition.
Footnote: The Navy Cross was instituted on 4 February 1919 and was awarded for Sailors and Marines who distinguish themselves for extraordinary heroism in combat with an armed enemy force.
6.A Defense Distinguished Service Medal. Superimposed on a blue-enameled pentagon, an American eagle with a shield of the United States on its breast grasps three crossed arrows in its talons, the eagle and pentagon are surrounded by a ring consisting of 13 five-pointed stars in the upper half and a wreath of laurel and olive in the lower half, reverse pentagon inscription reads FROM THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE TO, the upper contour of the medal bears the inscription FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE, 50 mm (h) x 40 mm (w), on original ribbon in blue, yellow, and red, extremely fine condition.

7.An Air Force Service Cross. Bronze cross bearing the coat of arms of the Air Force, an eagle and a cloud, in the center, encircling the cloud and eagle is a green enameled wreath, 58 mm (h) x 50 mm (w), on original ribbon, enamels intact, in very fine condition.
Footnote: The Air Force Cross was established on July 6, 1960, 13 years after the service separated from the Army. The medal is awarded to any person, while serving in any capacity with the Air Force or Space Force, who distinguish themselves by extraordinary heroism.
