A group of five American medals all in extremely fine condition, including:
United States. A Veteran Corps Of Artillery Medal.
In bronze, a Maltese cross with blue and white enamels, with artillery cannons crossing between the arms, surmounted by a cannonball; the obverse center presents a national eagle, circumscribed by a ring of red enamel bearing the inscription V.C.A. S.N.Y. 1790 in gold lettering, the reverse center shows a cannon and flag, surrounded by a red enameled ring reading PRO PATRIA ET JURE GENTIUM; 43.59 mm (h) x 32.63 mm (w), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon with pin, extremely fine condition.
United States. A 1876 Centennial Legion Military Order Medal.
In bronze, the obverse center shows a shield flanked by six flags and a hat on a pike, surrounded by the inscription THE CENTENNIAL LEGION OF HISTORIC MILITARY COMMANDS INC., the reverse center bears the date 1776 JULY 4 1876, surrounded by thirteen circles, each representing one of the United States; 35.4 mm, on the original ribbon with thirteen stars, in extremely fine condition.
United States. A Veterans 1st Prov. Regt. N.Y.G. VCA Post Medal.
In bronze, the obverse centerpiece features the obverse of a Veteran Corps Of Artillery Medal, consisting of an eagle centerpiece mounted on a Maltese cross with artillery cannons crossing between the arms, surrounded by the words VETERANS 1ST PROV. RECT. N.Y.G V.C.A POST, the reverse centerpiece is surrounded by laurels with the seal of New York at the top center; on the original ribbon in green, 34.1 mm, extremely fine condition.

A white-enameled cross, with green-enameled laurels in each quadrant; the obverse center bears the profile of Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, surrounded by a blue and red enameled ring with the words HONOUR GOD UNITY PEACE, the reverse centerpiece shows a rooster and an eagle surrounded by a blue and red enameled ring with the words COURAGE PATRIE FIDELITE LIBERTE; on original blue ribbon with white-red vertical stripes on the ends, 39 mm, enamels intact, extremely fine condition.

In bronze, the obverse comprises a castle mounted on a shield, flanked by laurels, sitting above a scroll with the words AMERICAN MILITARY ENGINEERS, all topped by a winged eagle, the reverse is regimentally impressed J. ARNER; on the original ribbon, 36.9 mm (h) x 35.8 mm (w), extremely fine condition.
