In 14K Gold with red enamels, weighing 19.6 grams inclusive of its ribbon and hanger, engraved "FRANCES DAVENPORT PACKETTE TODD 245" on the reverse, measuring 33.7 mm (w) x 37.7 mm inclusive of its integral ring suspension, maker marked "J.E.C. & CO." (J.E. Caldwell & Company, Philadelphia) and "14K" (Gold) on the reverse of the hanger, chipping evident in the red enamels on the centerpiece ring, contact marks, hanger is independent of its original ribbon, better than very fine.

Footnote: Membership in the National Society Daughters of the Barons of Runnemede is limited to women who are lineal descendants of one or more of the twenty-five Barons selected to enforce the Magna Charta, and of those Barons who were instrumental in helping to secure it. Descent through either the male or female line will be acceptable. Membership is by invitation only. Frances Davenport Packette was born on July 28, 1901 in Charles Town, Jefferson County, West Virginia. She was married to Augustine Jaquelin Todd (born December 27, 1891 in the District of Columbia), the couple living in the Washington, D.C. area from the mid-1920s to the early 1960s. In addition to being a member on the National Society Daughters of the Barons of Runnemede, she was also a member of the Sulgrave Club, the Daughters of the Cincinnati and the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had been vice regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies Association for twenty-five years, before becoming a vice regent emeritus in 1985. Frances Packette Todd died on January 23, 1987 in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida, at the age of 85. Her husband predeceased her on December 12, 1976, at the age of 84. The couple are buried at Zion Episcopal Churchyard in Charles Town, Jefferson County, West Virginia.
