An Air Force Combat Observer Wings, in silver, reverse bearing a horizontal swing pin, measures 81.3 mm (w) x 21.3 mm (h), light wear, very fine.

A Pilots Wing with AVG across the shield indicating the American Volunteer Group, in silver, reverse marked STERLING with a horizontal swing pin, measures 74.8 mm (w) x 19.2 mm (h), light tarnishing, in very fine condition.

Footnote: The American Volunteer Group were fighter pilots known as the Flying Tigers and served in China in the early part of 1942.
