A first war era Omega pocket watch, Gold-filled, featuring a large white dial with delicate black 1-12 numbers, five rules between each numeral, an hour and a minute with a small circle in each, an additional 60-second stopwatch face situated at the 6 o’clock position, topped by a ribbed wind-up dial, surrounded by a loop connected to a thick gilt chain marked B.C. & B., the reverse of the pocket watch is engraved with the monogram HED on the exterior, the interior case is engraved FOR DUTY NOBLY DONE OVERSEAS 1914 1919 Pte H.E.Dear WINGHAM TOWN, case lid impressed FORTUNE GOLD FILLED 1798597, measures 50.2 mm (w) x 63.0 mm (h), weighs 114.45 grams, light wear, untested but currently not functioning, small cracks in white dial, in very fine condition.
