Cigarette Case: in 925 sterling silver, weighing 139 grams, the front cover with an individual plane in silver affixed, above the engraved inscription "No. 1 AIR OBSERVER SCHOOL MILTON", the back cover plain, both inside covers with a gold-coloured wash, inside front cover marked "925" (silver), maker marked with the Roden Brothers "R" and its lion insignia, marked "STERLING" and engraved "PRESENTED / TO SGT. R.M. ARMSTRONG / JOINT-WINNER OF THE SKYWAYS TROPHY / BY / DOMINION SKYWAYS TRAINING / JANUARY 13TH 1944", inside back cover plain, hinged on the left side, missing its elastic used to secure the cigarettes in place, measuring 106 mm (w) x 83 mm (h) x 11.2 mm (h), exhibiting moderate denting on both sides from active use; and Identification Bracelet: in 925 sterling silver, obverse illustrating the RCAF Wings insignia with the inscription "PER ARDUA AD ASTRA" and engraved "R.M. Armstrong R187171" in running script, reverse marked "STERLING 925" (silver), maker marked with the Roden Brothers "R" and its lion insignia, measuring 36.2 mm (h) x 23.7 mm (h), with silver wrist chain, exhibiting multiple contact marks on both sides.
