Description
A coloured framed print of an official NASA photograph depicting an Apollo 12 astronaut carrying an experiment package a short distance away from the lunar module “Intrepid”. It is labeled along the bottom left corner with a short description of the photograph, and is signed “Alan Bean Apollo XII” in black permanent marker along the bottom right of the print. The print is contained in a modern blueish wooden frame, behind a pane of glass, with a medium pressboard backer that is held in place via ten metal tabs. It features a metal saw-tooth frame hanger along the landscape and portrait side for hanging, and is labeled on the reverse with a barcode sticker from the Michael’s Arts and Crafts store. It measures 432 mm (w) x 356 mm (l). The print is clear, and is free from smudges or blemishes of any kind, in absolute mint condition.
Footnote: Apollo XII was the sixth crewed flight in the United States Apollo program, and was the second to land on the moon. It was launched on November 14th, 1969, by NASA from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It was crewed by Charles “Pete” Conrad, Lunar Module Pilot Alan L. Bean, and Command Module Pilot Richard F. Gordon.
