(Insignien der kroatischen Freiwilligen in der Wehrmacht und Waffen-SS). A mixed lot of Croatian Axis volunteer insignia for personnel attached to the Wehrmacht, Waffen-SS, and Italian forces, including:
1. A 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st Croatian) sleeve insignia, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered red and white Croatian national emblem, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
2. A Croatian Light Transport Detachment sleeve insignia, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised red and white (substituted with silver) Croatian national emblem, topped by a raised inscription of “HRVATSKA” (“CROATIA”), perforated with four eyelets for sew-on attachment, unmarked, measuring 44 mm (w) x 56 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
3. A Croatian Defence Force 4th Mountain Brigade cap badge, constructed of zink, perforated with two eyelets for sew-on attachment, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating oxidation throughout, in fair condition.
