Description

1.Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. An Order of Independence Commander Badge. Ten-pointed star, each point consisting of three rays, on a five-pointed star in white enamel with red a centerpiece, superimposed on laurel wreath, inclusive of suspension mm (h) x mm (w), extremely fine condition.

Footnote: The Order was instituted in 1921 by Emir Hussein bin Ali, Sharif of Mecca.

2. Tunisia, Husainid dynasty. An Order of Glory Commander Badge. Ten-pointed star with emanating rays between the points, centerpiece shows Arabic inscription on green background, inclusive of bow suspension mm (h) x mm (w), on original ribbon, evidence of enamel chipping, very fine condition.

Footnote: The Order of Glory was a Tunisian honorary order founded in 1835 by Al-Mustafa ibn Mahmud the Bey of Tunisia. The order was awarded until the constitutional role of the Bey was abolished following 1957.
