In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
An Egypt Medal, in silver, rim engraved EDWIN NOTT. E.R.A. H.M.S. INVINCIBLE. with ALEXANDRIA 11TH JULY clasp, dated reverse, notable contact marks, bright, very fine.
A Khedive’s Star, in bronze, full size, unnamed, crescent moon and star suspension, light wear, with notable bruise to 9 o’clock tip, replacement ribbon, remains very fine.
Footnote: During the Anglo-Egyptian War of 1882, the Royal Navy warship HMS Invincible took part in Britain’s naval operations supporting the occupation of Egypt and securing control of the Suez region. She was present during the bombardment of Alexandria and helped enforce British naval dominance along the Egyptian coast, providing firepower and support for troop landings ashore. The ship’s role formed part of the wider imperial intervention in the Anglo-Egyptian War, which ultimately established British control over Egypt and safeguarded the strategic route to India via the Suez Canal.
An Engine Room Artificer was a highly skilled naval engineer responsible for maintaining and repairing a ship’s engines, boilers, and mechanical systems. These were some of the most technically trained enlisted men in the Royal Navy.
