For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A courtmounted bar presenting three decorations, measures 89 mm (w) x 95.5 mm (h), reverse reinforced with black felt, no pin, overall very fine, consisting of:
A British War Medal, silver, rim impressed L-8120 CPL. W. ANDERSON. R. SUSS. R, light wear, very fine.
A Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, rim impressed L-8120 CPL. W. ANDERSON. R. SUSS. R, light wear and contact marks to edges, remains very fine.
A George V Coronation Medal 1911, in silver, rim engraved 8120 L. CPL W ANDERSON RSR, dark patina, very fine condition.
Footnote: William Anderson enlisted for the great war in December 1915. He served with the Royal Sussex Regiment. Anderson died on November 5, 1918 at Peshawar.
In November 1918, the Royal Sussex Regiment was not on the Western Front but had battalions deployed in India as part of imperial garrison duties. A unit in Peshawar (modern-day Pakistan) would have been involved in internal security, frontier defense, and training, particularly due to unrest along the North-West Frontier and concerns about stability following the end of the First World War.
