A two piece medal bar, measuring 82 mm (w) x 73 mm (h - to base of St. Vladimir), with horizontal pin on the reverse, the bar weighs 32.81 grams, comprising:
An Order of St. Vladimir, IV Class, Civil Division, in 14 K Gold and enamels, a beautiful St. Vladimir in the form of a cross pattee with red and black enamel arms, with delicately hand painted insignia, the reverse inscribed in Russian with the institution date “September 22, 1782”, on a loop for suspension with original ribbon, marked 56 Gold mark on the suspension, marked on the reverse 6 o’clock arm under the enamel AK denoting manufacture by Keibel, measures 34.9 mm (w) x 39.7 mm (h), enamel chip to the reverse of the 12 o’clock arm, otherwise in near extremely fine condition.
A Tsar Alexander III Commemorative Medal, in silver, the obverse bearing a rightward-facing profile of Tsar Alexander III, flanked by name and a laurel branch, the reverse bearing dates “1881-1894”, situated above a Latin Cross and topped by a crown, unmarked, measuring 27.78 mm in diameter, minor edge marks and scratches, dark patina, very fine.
