(Totenkopf Insignien). A pair of Totenkopf insignia, including:

1. A Heer Braunschweig-style Totenkopf, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs with the upper prong securing in place a period original red wool liner accenting the eye sockets, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 31 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A first pattern Waffen-SS Totenkopf, constructed of silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), total loss of finish and consisting oxidation is evident throughout, both of the attachment prongs have been lost, and there are cracks to the skull’s left side at both the top and bottom, a relic example in fair condition.
