(Wehrmacht Gegenstände). A mixed lot of four items, including:
1. A Heer EM/NCO’s visor cap wreath and cockade, constructed of aluminum, the reverse with two of four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in very fine condition.
2. A Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s visor cap wreath and cockade, constructed of a silvered zink alloy, unmarked, measuring 142 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), both reverse attachment prongs are missing and minor loss of finish is evident throughout, in very fine condition.
3. A Krim Shield, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates “1941-1942”, the reverse modified with a horizontal pinback in place of its previous backplate and wool liner, the latter replaced with a cut-out patch of green felt, unmarked, measuring 52.58 mm (w) x 61.67 mm (h), weighing 19.0 grams (inclusive of backer), demonstrating loss of finish throughout, a modified example in very fine condition.
4. An Federal Republic-era unissued Esbit, constructed of a magnetic steel case, with the shell opening to reveal a raised “ESBIT” mark above an inscription of “MADE IN W. - GERMANY” (West Germany), measuring 98 mm (w) x 75 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), accompanied by a Wehrmacht-period presentation case, the latter demonstrating minor soiling and material fatigue, in overall near mint condition.
