In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Auszeichnungen). A pair of decorations, including:
1. A Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.36 mm in diameter, weighing 15.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux maroon leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilded and embossed German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and slotted maroon velvet medal bed, the former maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, some material fatigue is evident to the case and friction renders function of the stud release difficult, measuring 48 mm (w) x 102 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
2. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), accompanied by its original package of issue, constructed of beige paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “EHRENKREUZ DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER DRITTE STUFE” and a maker’s mark of “G.H. OSANG, DRESDEN”, measuring 105 mm (w) x 135 mm (h), with minor flecking and loss of finish visible to the enamels and base metal of the decoration, in near extremely fine condition.
