1. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.29 mm (w) x 46.27 mm (h), weighing 21.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied its original presentation case, constructed of a two-piece card stock frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silvered number “25” situated within a cogwheel, the interior with a maroon wool medal bed, the lid bearing a maker’s label reading “ROMAN PALME, GABLONZ-NEIßE”, measuring 50 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish to the award and moderate material fatigue to the case, in very fine condition.
2. A Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.13 mm (h), weighing 15.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux maroon leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted maroon felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring clip with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), demonstrating moderate material fatigue to the case, in better than very fine condition.
