Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Member and Supporter Badges

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of member and supporter badges, including:

1. An NSDAP membership badge, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/155” for Schwertner & Cie, Eggenberg, measuring 23 mm in diameter, the catch is missing with additional oxidation and loss of finish throughout, in fair condition.

2. A second NSDAP membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/12” for Gebrüder Hahne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 23 mm in diameter, the pinback is missing, the enamels demonstrate chipping, and most of the finish has been lost, in poor condition.

3. An HJ membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/149” for Lentwerk Brüder Schneider, Vienna, measuring 14 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), some chipping and loss of finish is visible to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in very fine condition.

4. A National Socialist German Students Federation Kampfhilfe badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/63” for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid (the only documented manufacturer of this badge), in extremely fine condition.

5. An HJ knife badge, constructed of a multi-coloured alloy, unmarked, measuring 30 mm in length, missing its attachment apparatus and showing some loss of finish, in fair condition.

6. A patriotic badge, constructed of bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 24 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
