Description
(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:
1. A Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s visor cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, maker marked with the logo of Christian Theodor Dicke, Lüdenscheid, measuring 66 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in near mint condition.
2. A Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger Badge, cloth version, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 64 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
3. An NSDAP membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/90” for Apreck & Vrage, Leipzig, measuring 23 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor flecking and loss of finish to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in better than very fine condition.
