Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Insignia

 (Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:

1. A 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division Hermann Göring uniform eagle, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 78 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in unissued and mint condition.

2. A Kriegsmarine EM/NCO’s tropical breast eagle, constructed of brown rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-brown Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 135 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (H), demonstrating minor chipping and cracking to the enamels of the six o’clock arm, in very fine condition.
