(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of badges, including:
1. A DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon defaced by a mobile swastika, surrounding stylized initials “DRL”, the reverse with barrel hinge and flattened vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the reverse maker marked with the logo of L. Christian Lauer, Nuremberg, measuring 38.85 mm (w) x 48.72 mm (h), weighing 18.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
2. A Gau Weser-Ems AH patriotic badge, constructed of gilded bronze, vertical pinback, the reverse marked with a dedication from the Reichsstatthalter of Oldenburg-Bremen, otherwise unmarked, measuring 35 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor loss of finish, in near extremely fine condition.
3. An Italian Youth of the Lictor badge, the obverse bearing a leftward-facing profile of Mussolini, circumscribed by an inscription of “CREDERE - OBEDIRE - COMBATTERE” (“BELIEVE - OBEY - FIGHT”), joined together at the bottom by the initials of the G.I.L. (Gioventù Italiana del Littorio/Italian Youth of the Lictor), the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked “CASTELLI, MILANO/ROMA”, measuring 38 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
4. A Finnish Lotta Svärd membership badge, constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled swastika with its arms joined through the quadrants by roses, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, with an issue number of “107407”, also stamped with a silver content mark for 813, with additional hallmarks, measuring 28 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), weighing 9.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
