(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of badges and insignia, including:
1. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surrounding a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 42.57 mm (w) x 53.05 mm (h), weighing 32.5 grams, demonstrating total loss of finish with minor zink pest, in very fine condition.
2. A matching set of Heer Panzer Troops collar tab devices, each constructed of a silvered alloy and retaining all three attachment prongs, both unmarked and measuring 23 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), demonstrating some loss of finish, in very fine condition.
3. A Reich Labour Service of Female Youth (RADwJ) rank badge, constructed of bronzed zink, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with the logo of an unidentified manufacturer, a date of “41”, and a Reichsleitung des Reichsarbeitsdienstes logo, measuring 45 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
4. A 1937 Oldenburg Weser-Ems Gautag commemorative badge, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
5. A 1939 Nuremberg Rally commemorative badge, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, the reverse bearing a maker’s mark of “C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M9/11” for the same manufacturer, measuring 40 mm in diameter, demonstrating loss of silver finish and some oxidation, in very fine condition.
6. A Stahlhelmbund membership badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
