(Zwei Brustadler). A grouping of two Third Reich German breast eagles, consisting of:
1. A Wehrmacht Heer Officer’s Summer Tunic Breast Eagle, constructed of silvered feinzink, consisting of a large national eagle with open wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with the negative of the obverse, with a horizontal pinback and an additional stabilizer bar on the reverse of the wreath, unmarked, measuring 95.1 mm (w) x 34.9 mm (l), with the majority of the silver finish remaining, in very fine condition.
2. A NSKOV (Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung) Officer’s Breast Eagle, constructed of silvered aluminum, consisting of a large national eagle with open wings with crossed swords and a Cross Pattée superimposed on its chest, clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with the negative of the obverse, with a horizontal pinback with a crimped hinge and crimped round wire catch, marked “Ges. Gesch.” and “2”, measuring 95.0 mm (w) x 37.1 mm (l), with nearly all of its silver finish remaining, in near mint condition.
