A lot of five third reich German medals, awards, and decorations, consisting of:
1. An Army/Kriegsmarine Long Service Medal (Dienstauszeichnung IV. Klasse für 4 Jahre). Constructed of magnetic metal, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon with a silvered eagle on the ribbon and featuring a horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised national German eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by the inscription “Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht” (Faithful Service in the Wehrmacht), the reverse bearing a wreathed number “4” unmarked, measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.
2. A Westwall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen). Constructed of bronzed zink, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from a correct replacement ribbon, the obverse with a crossed shovel and sword in the centre, and a concrete pillbox/bunker directly below, with a German national eagle above all within an oak leaf wreath, the reverse inscribed “Für Arbeit zum schutze Deutschlands” (For labour for the protection of Germany) within an oak wreath; measuring 33.3 mm (w) x 45.6 mm (l), weighing 14.63 grams, in near very fine condition.
3. A War Merit Medal (Kriegsverdienstmedaille). Constructed of bronze, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from a correct replacement ribbon, the obverse with a War Merit Cross I. Class consisting of a Maltese Cross with a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse inscribed “Für Kriegsverdienst 1939” (For War Merit), measuring 32.2 mm in diameter, weighing 12.75 grams, in very fine condition.
4. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award (Treudienst Ehrenzeichen II. Stufe für 25 Jahre). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from a period original ribbon featuring a hook on the reverse for attachment to a uniform (depicting fading on the ribbon on the obverse), consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.2 mm (w) x 41.1 mm (l), weighing 18.23 grams, in very fine condition.
5. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Silver Grade (Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter in Silber).
Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, sun rays emanating between the arms of a Latin Cross from the centre applique, central medallion depicting a black enameled swastika ringed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (The German Mother), reverse inscribed with institution date of 16 Dezember 1938 and facsimile of the Führer and Reichskanzler, unmarked, measuring 35.8 mm (w) x 45.9 mm (h), weighing 12.24 grams, on a fixed loop for suspension from its correct replacement ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
