A grouping of Third Reich German award documents, photographs, and awards, consisting of:
1. An award document to Signalobergefreiter Ernst Lutz from Torpedo Boat T24 for an Iron Cross 1939 II. Class, awarded onboard on December 31st 1943, and signed by stand-in Leader of Destroyers, Theodor Freiherr von Mauchenheim, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (l).
2. An award document to Kapitänleutnant Johann von Garrel for a War Merit Cross I. Class with Swords, awarded on January 30th, 1944, and signed by Konteradmiral and Leader of the Marinekommando in Italy, Wilhelm Meendsen-Bohlken, measuring 143 mm (w) x 205 mm (l).
3. An award document to Obergereiten Otto Graf of the 1st Engineer Bridging Battalion Detachment 51, with a facsimile stamp of Generalfeldmarschall Ewald von Kleist, measuring 148 mm (w) x 201 mm (l).
4. Accompanied by a photograph of an unknown soldier in a formal Kriegsmarine “walk out” dress jacket, rank is undecipherable, measuring 148 mm (w) x 209 mm (l), with a staple mark and a partial Kriegsmarine seal remaining on the photograph, measuring 47 mm (w) x 66 mm (l).
5. Accompanied by the cloth version of a Bronze Grade DRL Sports Badge, the backer constructed of black rayon material, with bronze-coloured machine embroidery on the obverse in the shape of a laurel wreath with the central letters “DRL” and with a mobile swastika at the base of the wreath, measuring 57 mm (w) x 74 mm (l).
