Constructed of paper stock with multi-colour ink, consisting of a fold-out 1:25 000 scale map of the city of Berlin, with streets and attractions displayed in clear detail, supplemented by a guide to transportation, government office, consulates and embassies, lost-and-found outlets, and other important information for visitors to the city, featuring an advertisement for the 1936 Berlin Olympics in anticipation of a boost in tourism for the host city, published by the Berliner Verkehrsverein (the Official Berlin Tourist Association), measuring 10 cm (w) x 21 cm (h) when folded closed, an interesting memento of pre-war tourist culture in extremely fine condition.
