Germany, NSFK. A 1938 Germany Flight Day Commemorative Table Medal, with Award Document and Case

 (Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Deutschlandflug Erinnerungsmedaille mit Etui und Urkunde). Constructed of a coppered bronze alloy, consisting of an oval disc, the obverse bearing a central raised NSFK insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS DEUTSCHLANDFLUG 1938” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST FLYERS CORPS GERMANY FLIGHT 1938”), the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “MIT UNSEREM FÜHRER IM GLEICHEN SCHRITT UND TRITT FLIEGER WIR FÜR UNSER EWIGES DEUTSCHLAND” (colloquially translating to “IN LOCK STEP WITH OUR LEADER WE TAKE FLIGHT FOR OUR ETERNAL GERMANY”), as quoted from NSFK Korpsführer (Leader) Friedrich Christiansen, above a stamped issue number of “1828”, measuring 95 mm (w) x 76 mm (h), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the interior with a retractable padded white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former bearing an inscriptions of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS DER KORPSFÜHRER”, with a depressed blue velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 120 mm (w) x 100 mm (h) x 20 mm (h), also accompanied by its original award document, constructed of olive-drab card stock, the obverse named to “FELDWEBEL I. RLAD RÜHL” (Air Traffic Control), issued in Berlin and dated 29 May 1938, the reverse bearing a matching stamped issue number of “01828”, measuring 90 mm (w) x 110 mm (h), a superb complete set in extremely fine condition.
