(Kriegsmarine Brustadler). A mixed lot of breast eagles, including:
1. An EM/NCO’s eagle, constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing an embroidered golden-yellow Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.
2. An Officer’s eagle, constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a hand-embroidered gold bullion wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with details and featuring highlighted in red threading, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
3. An Officer’s summer uniform eagle, constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of an elongated and slightly vaulted Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire, with a stabilizer emanating from the wreath, marked “M” for naval issue, bearing a handwritten postwar owner’s name of “FRED MCDONALD”, measuring 95 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
4. A plaque eagle, constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse retaining a large attachment clip, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
