In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Ordensschnalle). A pair of medal bars for 19th century campaign service, including:
1. One with two decorations, including a Hohenzollern Commemorative Medal for Combatants of 1848/49, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.88 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition, and; a War Commemorative Medal for Non-Combatants of 1870/71, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original and correct non-combatant’s ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.10 mm in diameter, demonstrating loss of finish resulting in surface oxidation (particularly owing to friction from the spot where its counterpart overlaps, indicating that the bar has never been added to or modified), in fair condition; both suspended from a 65 mm-long bar with a horizontal pinback, red wool liner, and non-magnetic metal core, demonstrating some soiling to the ribbons, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A second with two decorations, including a War Commemorative Medal for Combatants of 1870/71, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original correct combatant’s ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.06 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition, and; a Kaiser Wilhelm I Centenary Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 39.95 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; both suspended from an 80 mm-long trapezoidal bar with a horizontal pinback, red wool liner, and brass core, demonstrating some soiling to the ribbons, in near extremely fine condition.
