1. A 1914 Iron Cross I Class, of one-piece non-magnetic metal (tombak) construction, consisting of a silvered and blackened Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with a barrel hinge and wide pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 43.35 mm (w) x 42.84 mm (h), weighing 21.1 grams, demonstrating loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition.
2. An Imperial Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath with scalloped edges, with a central raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.30 mm (w) x 45.03 mm (h), weighing 7.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. A Silesian Eagle, I Class, constructed of blackened tombak, the obverse consisting of a Silesian-style German national eagle clutching a banner bearing an inscription of “FÜR SCHLESIEN” (“FOR SILESIA”), overlaid across the chest by a Brustmond, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 31.03 mm (w) x 42.33 mm (h), demonstrating near-total loss of finish throughout, an early (c. 1923) example in very fine condition.
