In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
The collection consists of: a German Officer’s Club membership card (122x85mm, near very fine); a hunting licence (105x148mm, fair); a Heereskleiderkasse membership card (105x76mm, very fine). The German Officer’s Club membership card is a duplicate. The club was located in the Armeemarinehaus (Army Navy House) in Berlin, a place where officers could buy clothes, weapons, and groceries. It was issued to Keitel in the rank of Oberleutnant (Senior Lieutenant) and as Adjutant of Field Artillery Regiment No. 46. Unfortunately, the date on the reverse is illegible, but due to Keitel’s rank and assignment, the item can be dated to between 1910 and 1914.The hunting licence is named to General Keitel for hunting on the hunting grounds of Crangen and Drenzig (present-day Krąg and Drzeńsko, northwestern Poland) for between July 31 and October 31, 1937. It makes Keitel eligible to shoot deer and roe deer as well as boars, and is dated to Crangen on July 31, 1937. The membership card for the Heereskleiderkasse (army clothing supply) is named to Keitel in the rank of Major of the Reichswehr. It is undated, but was issued between 1923 and 1929.
