Germany, Heer. An A-Frame, by Jeurgens of Goch

(Heer Sturmgepack). A well-preserved Heer A-frame, constructed of multiple panels of olive-drab cotton twill with rigid internal reinforcement, securely stitching together at all intersections, topped by two black leather loops which fix in place identical cotton twill straps topped by magnetic metal clips, with the lower edge of each similarly fastened with magnetic metal D-ring style loops and clips, retaining two blackened leather straps adjusted with functional magnetic metal buckles, one side of the frame stamped with an illegible Reichsbetriebsnummer, one strap stamped with a maker’s mark of “A. JEURGENS, GOCH”, circumscribing a manufacturer date of “1941”, measuring 28 cm (w) x 28 cm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue consistent with both age and field use, a classic example of Heer field gear in near extremely fine condition.
