Description

(Heer Soldbuch). Constructed of a brown card stock binding with 26 paginated interior pages filled with handwritten and stamped entries, named to “ALFRED HEUPEL”, who was born on 25 July 1921 and who served for part of the war with 10. Kompanie, Infanterie-Regiment 515, who attained the rank of Obergefreiter (1 April 1943), and who received the Black Grade Wound Badge (15 August 1942), the Eastern Front Medal (14 September 1942), and the Infantry Assault Badge (1 April 1942), retaining a certified photo of Heupel, measuring 10.5 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h), demonstrating extensive fatigue and soiling, the former including the detachment of the pages from the binding, in very fine condition.
