In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Heer Tropen Stiefelhose für Mannschaften mit Hosenträger). An extremely well-preserved pair of Heer tropical breeches, constructed of olive-drab cotton/wool blended cloth with a pronounced corduroy weave. They feature an integral belt in the form of a khaki-tan canvas strap situated within the waistband, emerging on the right side to fit through a blackened magnetic metal clawed buckle on the left. Two side pockets are set into the upper front things, both opening with buttonless diagonal slashes, while a single back pocket is set into the upper right leg and fastens closed with a single zink button meeting a reinforced buttonhole. A French fly closes with six hidden zink buttons meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes. Each ankle has a vertical slash which closes ten sets of dual reinforced eyelets retaining an original matching olive-drab rayon drawstring. The seat is reinforced with a layer of olive-drab cotton/wool cloth which is executed in a slightly darker tone than the base material. A white cotton liner surrounds the interior of the waistband, and is stamped with a maker’s mark of “M. NEUMANN, WIEN”, in turn flanked by size dimensions and a depot mark dated “43”. Two leather loops fastened to interior buttons set into the back of the waistband retain an original set of elasticized suspenders, complete with metal fixtures marked “EXTRA-LANG”. The breeches measure approximately 42 cm across the waistband, with a total length of 104 cm (when folded on a flat surface). Demonstrating no notable damage or wear, this high-quality, mid-war pair to a soldier serving in the Mediterranean theatre remains in an extremely fine condition.
