A Silesian Eagle, I Class, constructed of tombak, the obverse consisting of a Silesian-style German national eagle, its talons clutching a banner reading “FÜR SCHLESIEN” (“FOR SILESIA”), overlaid across the chest by a crescent and cross, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse appliques in place, with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 31.55 mm (w) x 42.08 mm (h), weighing 15.2 grams, with minor oxidation and tarnish evident in addition to slight loosening of the crescent fixture, an early example in near extremely fine condition.2. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined together through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.59 mm (w) x 46.25 mm (h), weighing 23.2 grams (inclusive of ribbon and pinback), with minor loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition.
3. A German Red Cross (DRK) Assistant’s badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Hermann Aurich, Dresden, measuring 30 mm in diameter, with some flecking and loss of finish evident to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in near extremely fine condition.
