Yugoslavia, Socialist Federal Republic. An Order of the People’s Army, II Class

(Orden narodne armije). Instituted in 1952. Three-piece construction, insignia in frosted and gilt bronze with white enamels, mounted to a five-pointed silver gilt star base, each star point with three wide emanating rays, with two smaller wide emanating rays between each star point, marked 900 on the base denoting silver fineness, partial mark above, measuring 69.5 mm (w) x 67.5 mm (h), weighs 63.3 grams, vertical pinback, four rivets on the reverse base, contact marks on the reverse. Accompanied by a ribbon bar of red and white silk. 

In its hardshelled case of issue, red dimpled exterior, marked in gold-coloured ink with the Yugoslavia coat-of-arms and inscribed "ORDEN NARODNE ARMIJE SA ZLATNOM ZVEZDOM" on the lid, inside lid in white nylon, the base with a medal bed in black felt, measuring 95 mm (w) x 135 mm (h) x 30 mm (d), exhibiting scuffing, staining and wear on the exterior, near very fine.
