A mixed lot of service medals, including:

1. A Medal for Labour Valour, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backer with a horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a red enameled five pointed star defaced by a sickle and hammer, situated above an inscription of “ЗА ТРУДОВУЮ ДОБЛЕСТЬ” (“FOR LABOUR VALOUR”) and “СССР” (“USSR”), the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “ТРУД В СССР ДЕЛО ЧЕСТИ” (“LABOUR IN THE USSR - A MATTER OF HONOUR”), unmarked, measuring 34.25 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Medal for Battle Merit, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension from a ribbon bar with screwback attachment in fist pattern format, the obverse bearing a central raised inscription of “ЗА БОЕВЫЕ ЗАСЛУГА” (“FOR BATTLE MERIT”), topped by a red enameled inscription of “СССР” (“USSR”), and situated above a crossed rifle and sabre, the reverse stamped with an award number of “70859”, the screwback maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 32.10 mm in diameter (inclusive of suspension), weighing 33.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.

3. A second Medal for Battle Merit, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with a horizontal pinabck, the obverse bearing a central raised inscription of “ЗА БОЕВЫЕ ЗАСЛУГА” (“FOR BATTLE MERIT”), topped by a red enameled inscription of “СССР” (“USSR”), and situated above a crossed rifle and sabre, the reverse stamped with an award number of “1670044”, the screwback maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 32.43 mm in diameter, weighing 33.3 grams (inclusive of suspension), in extremely fine condition.
