A mixed lot of service medals, including:
1. A Medal for Courage, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension from a ribbon bar with screwback attachment in first pattern format, the obverse bearing a central raised T-35 tank, circumscribed by inscriptions of “ЗА ОТВАГУ” (“FOR COURAGE”) and “СССР” (“USSR”), in turn topped by aircraft, the reverse stamped with an award number of “51130”, the screwback maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 37.35 mm in diameter, weighing 45.9 grams (inclusive of suspension), in near extremely fine condition.
2. A second Medal for Courage, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with a horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a central raised T-35 tank, circumscribed by inscriptions of “ЗА ОТВАГУ” (“FOR COURAGE”) and “СССР” (“USSR”), in turn topped by aircraft, the reverse stamped with an award number of “138397”, weighing 41.3 grams (inclusive of suspension), in near extremely fine condition.
3. A Jubilee Medal for 20 Years of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army, constructed of gilded silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with a horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a red enameled five-pointed star, situated above a number “20” in Roman numerals, the reverse bearing a raised Red Army soldier flanked by dats “1918-1938”, unmarked, measuring 32.26 mm in diameter, weighing 32.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), demonstrating near-total loss of gilt finish, in very fine condition.
