 A mixed lot of medals for military service, including:

1. A Medal for Courage, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate, the obverse bearing a central depressed inscription of “ЗА ОТВАГУ” (“FOR COURAGE”), situated above a raised depiction of a T-35 tank and and below aircraft in formation, the six o’clock position overlaid by depressed and red enameled initials “СССР” (“USSR”), the reverse stamped with an issue number of “3500464”, measuring 37.30 mm in diameter, weighing 41.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), demonstrating significant chipping to the enamels of the inscription, in better than very fine condition.

2. A Partisan Medal, I Class, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32.27 mm in diameter, weighing 35.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), in extremely fine condition.

3. A Defence of Kiev Medal, constructed of brass, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32.07 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

4. A Medal for Victory over Japan, constructed of brass, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32.21 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
