Description

(За преобразование Нечерноземья РСФСР). Instituted September 30th, 1977. A circular gilded tombac medal, the obverse depicting a tractor pulling a plough through a field, circumscribed “For Transforming the Non-Black Earth of the RSFSR” in Russian script, the reverse bearing a Hammer and Sickle behind dual wheat stalks and topped by a radiant five-pointed star, suspended from a pentagonal mounted ribbon with an aluminum core and horizontal pinback, measuring 32.1 mm in diameter. Accompanied by its award certificate booklet, with a textured green exterior cover and space on the inside for the recipient name and award bestowal date (both blank), measuring 70 mm (w) x 103 mm (l), in near mint condition.
