Ukrainian Police Cap Badge (in die-stamped bronze with navy blue patination, the centrepiece bearing the Ukrainian trident coat-of-arms, pearl wreath border, measuring 28.8 mm in diameter, both prongs intact); and Ukranian Auxiliary Police Cap Badge (in die-stamped bronze with ultramarine blue patination, the centrepiece bearing the Ukrainian trident coat-of-arms, pearl wreath border, measuring 28.8 mm in diameter, both prongs intact, scattered chipping in the light blue patination). Together, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Auxiliary Police Cap Badge was produced in 1918 for the Army of the Ukrainian State and re-issued in 1942 for the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police in Galicia. Both badges come from a stock found in Vienna, Austria c. 1970, the stock containing only a few copies of the formerly mentioned Ukrainian Police Cap Badge.
