Issued on the 40th Anniversary of the Renewal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Fullsize: in bronze gilt with light blue and white enamels, measuring 41 mm (w) x 41 mm (h), original ribbon with pinback; and Miniature: in bronze gilt with light blue and white enamels, measuring 17.5 mm (w) x 17.5 mm (h), original ribbon. Intact enamels, extremely fine.
Footnote: The Military Cross of the Ukrainian National Republic was instituted on March 8, 1958 by the Presidium of the Ukrainian National Council. It was awarded by the President of the Ukrainian National Republic in Exile in the name of the Republic, to all participants in the Struggle for Liberation of Ukraine.
