Spain, Kingdom. An Order of Isabella the Catholic, Miniature Collar in Gold

(Real Orden de Isabel la Católica). A finely made miniature collar composed of 18K Gold, with green, blue, red and white enamels; the badge consisting of a cross in red enamel, each of the arms finished with two ball finials, centerpiece ring shows variation of insignia with two pillars and two overlapping orbs upon which sits a crown, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the inscription “A La Lealtad Acris” on the obverse and  Por Isabel la Cata”, the badge is surmounted by one large link featuring the inscription F.7. in blue and white enamels with a small vertical pin on the reverse; the chain is composed of 12 links with the alternating crossed arrows in gold with ovular discs presenting the two crowned orbs in red, yellow, green and white enamels, all links with plain reverses, connected to a wide oval carrying handle, measures 113.9 mm in length (edge of badge to the edge of the handle), weighs 13.29 grams, enamels intact, extremely fine condition.
