Spain, Kingdom. A Miniature Spanish Order Of Isabella The Catholic Collar, c. 1960.

(Real Orden de Isabel la Católica). A finely made miniature collar in green, blue, red and white enamels; the badge consisting of a cross in red enamel, each of the arms finished with two ball finials, centerpiece ring shows variation of insignia with two pillars and two overlapping orbs upon which sits a crown, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the inscription “A La Lealtad Acrisolada Por Isabel la Católica”; the chain composed of 15 icons with the alternating ciphers "F VII", the crossed arrows, the two orbs, and the bow and arrow; on wide oval carrying handle, measures 12.2 cm, enamels intact, extremely fine condition. 

Footnote: The Order was established on the 14th of March 1815 as a Spanish civil order in which membership is granted in recognition of services that benefit the country. There are several variations that may include sizes, composition materials, details, and the design of the insignia.
